Pinehurst, NC Nasal & Sinus Surgery

Pinehurst Surgical is proud to be a leader in sinus and nasal surgical procedures, and our surgical facility was one of the first non-academic practices in North Carolina to use a computer-guided imaging system to ensure the safest and most effective outcomes with sinus surgery.

We offer a variety of nasal and sinus surgeries to patients in Pinehurst, Carthage, Fort Bragg and surrounding areas, including:

Each of our surgical procedures is performed with the greatest care and attention to detail by a staff of specially-trained physicians and surgeons.

In-Office Balloon Sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty devices are an endoscopic, catheter-based system proven to provide relief from painful and nagging sinus symptoms. Opening blocked sinus passageways facilitates drainage of the mucus that builds up and results in pain. When the sinus balloon is inflated it restructures and widens the walls of the sinus passageway, while maintaining the integrity of the sinus lining.

PROPEL Sinus Stent

The PROPEL Contour is a dissolvable drug-eluting sinus stent that is placed after sinus surgery in the frontal (behind the forehead) or maxillary (behind the cheeks) sinuses. PROPEL Contour incorporates a unique hourglass design that conforms to the sinus openings, delivering medication and mechanical support where it is needed to optimize surgical outcomes.

SINUVA™ (mometasone furoate) Sinus Implant

SINUVA is a sinus implant that treats nasal polyps without surgery. It's designed to open in the sinus cavity and release anti-inflammatory medicine to treat nasal polyps for up to 90 days.

Pediatric ENT Conditions

More than three million American children have a hearing loss, and an estimated 1.3 million of them are under three years of age. Hearing loss can be temporary, caused by ear wax, middle ear fluid, or infections. Many children with temporary hearing loss can have their hearing restored through medical treatment or minor surgery.

Allergy Treatment

We provide allergy treatment for hay fever, seasonal and perennial rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, laryngitis, sore throat, otitis media, dizziness and other sensitivities that affect the ear, nose, and throat.

Turbinate Reduction

Turbinate reduction (also known as turbinoplasty or turbinectomy) is a surgical procedure that reduces the overall size of the turbinates allowing for airflow which results in symptommatic relief of nasal obstruction and congestion.

Snoreplasty: Soft Palate Reduction

Snoreplasty is a nonsurgical treatment for snoring that involves the injection of a hardening agent into the upper palate reducing the loudness and incidence of primary snoring (snoring without apnea, or cessation of breath).
